Kate O’Neill is a true thought leader, author, keynote speaker, strategic advisor, and „tech humanist“ helping humanity prepare for a more technology-driven future. It was an honor to be a guest in her show. We talked about connecting the dots between AI ethics, privacy, climate change, CSR, ESG, contact tracing, carbon offsetting etc. It was a wonderful chance for a stimulating in-depth discussion with quite some laughter.
Offsetting emissions is a really good thing. It’s good to know that there are ways to compensate for the carbon emissions you generate. But the first question to ask should not be: can I offset it, or how can i offset it, but it should be: is what I’m doing even necessary.
